From Dr. Romena Kiryakous, PsyD
When I first entered the field of behavioral health over two decades ago,
I wasn’t just seeking a profession, I was answering a calling. I’ve had the honor of working with some of the most extraordinary children and families, many of whom were told they would never learn, never communicate, or never thrive.
I saw their potential before the world did.
I founded Genesis Behavior Center to give those children a place to grow with dignity and data-driven care. But as we expanded across clinics and families, I faced the same challenge over and over again: the tools we needed to truly individualize treatment, track growth meaningfully, and connect across disciplines simply didn’t exist.
So I built one.
FirstPath, Inc., was born from the real needs of providers, families, and neurodiverse individuals. It’s more than a software platform,
it’s the culmination of decades of clinical insight, refined workflows, and a deep desire to bring dignity and precision to every child’s journey.
